Sarala's Light (saralaslight.com) is a free, non-commercial reminder service operated by Sender Ehrman in memory of Sarala Ehrman a"h. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

When you sign up, we collect your first and last name, zip code, and, if you choose, your mobile phone number and/or email address, along with your choice to receive text and/or email reminders.

How we use it

• Your zip code is used only to work out your local Shabbos and Yom Tov candle-lighting time.
• Your phone number is used only to send you the text reminders you signed up for.
• Your email address is used only to send you the email reminders you signed up for.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We use a small number of service providers only to operate the service: our website host, a spreadsheet where sign-ups are stored, and our text-message provider, which delivers the messages. They use your information only to provide that service to us.

Stopping and deleting

Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages right away. To stop emails or to have your information deleted, email info@saralaslight.com and we'll take care of it.
