About Sarala

Sarala was the quiet one in the room, and the one everyone remembers. She didn't need many words. Her shy, open smile said it all, and it made the people around her feel that they mattered.

She cared deeply about her Yiddishkeit. Even far from home, she lit her Shabbos candles faithfully and held on to every mitzvah she could. When her class celebrated their bas mitzvah, Sarala was the one chosen to speak.

She cared about people. She adored her family, made new friends wherever she went, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She crocheted soft little hearts and made bracelets to give away, and even on her own hardest days she found ways to lift up the people around her.

Sarala was 14 when she was niftar. Her yahrzeit is Gimmel Kislev.
